About us
Capital on standby for the businesses that keep Australia running
Capital On Call is an Australian business-finance service. We help businesses whose cash flow is seasonal or uneven arrange lines of credit, unsecured working capital and property-secured loans through our lending panel, so the money is in place before the moment it's needed.
Why does Capital On Call exist?
A lot of business finance assumes the same revenue lands every month. Few of the businesses we speak with work that way. A dive operator in Cairns, a labour-hire contractor running a vintage crew in McLaren Vale, a carpenter waiting on progress claims in western Sydney, an importer with stock sitting on the wharf at the Port of Melbourne — all profitable over twelve months, yet their cash turns up in bursts.
Those owners already know how to run a budget. What they need is a facility that bends with their year, set up by people who understand why the wet season or the weeks after EOFY look so different from December. That is the job Capital On Call was set up to do.
What do we do?
- Arrange business lines of credit and unsecured working capital for businesses generally trading six months or more.
- Arrange property-secured loans of $20,000 to $1m for larger or low-doc needs, including refinancing or paying out ATO debt.
- Present your seasonal pattern to lenders so a quiet quarter is read as normal trading, not a business in decline.
- Publish plain-English guides on cash flow, BAS and super timing, and getting paid.
How we work
Four principles we stick to
Structure before product
We shape the funding around the need — a revolving limit for gaps that repeat, a lump sum for a one-off cost — instead of pushing whatever is quickest to write.
No advertised rates
Each loan is priced on the business behind it. Rather than publish a number that wouldn't apply to you, we find the sharpest option for your situation and walk you through every cost.
Including "not now"
If a smaller amount, a different structure or holding off altogether makes more sense, you'll hear that from us.
Business purposes
We arrange finance for business use — sole traders, companies, partnerships and trusts — not personal or consumer credit.
Who writes our guides?
Our guides are prepared by the Capital On Call Editorial Team from current Australian sources such as the ATO, ABS, Tourism Research Australia and business.gov.au, and are revisited when rules or data change. We're not a bank; we work with a panel of lenders to find the option that suits each business.
The quickest way to reach us is the 60-second online enquiry — a lending specialist will follow up to talk through your options.
Put some capital on call
Tell us how cash moves through your business. The enquiry takes about 60 seconds, leaves your credit score alone, and a lending specialist gets back to you to talk through the options.
